Nathan Baker closing in on Bristol City return
Bristol City's fears over Nathan Baker have been further eased by news that the defender could soon be back on the field.
Baker, signed on loan from Aston Villa, was taken off during City's goalless draw against Cardiff on October 26 with a hamstring problem and missed the subsequent defeat to Fulham.
Manager Steve Cotterill confirmed on Monday that Baker was "50/50" to face Wolves, while there was also positive news on long-term absentee Scott Wagstaff who is in training as he recovers from a calf problem.
City are looking to put aside memories of Saturday's 4-1 home defeat to Fulham, with Cotterill saying: "The only statistic we weren't happy with was the scoreline, of course. Wolves are a very big club who will be looking to get into the play-offs."
Wolves have no new injury worries ahead of the trip to Ashton Gate.
Newcastle loanee Mike Williamson is expected to keep his spot after making his debut in Saturday's 2-0 win at Birmingham.
Grant Holt will be pushing for a start after joining on loan from Wigan until January and making a late substitute appearance at St Andrew's.
Rajiv van La Parra (knee), Kortney Hause (hamstring) and Ethan Ebanks-Landell (foot) all remain sidelined for Kenny Jackett's men.
