Aaron Tshibola to miss out for Reading through injury
Reading will be without Aaron Tshibola when they host Huddersfield.
Midfielder Tshibola was absent from the side which drew 1-1 with leaders Brighton on Saturday due to an ankle injury which could keep him out for some time.
Winger Hal Robson-Kanu and midfielder Stephen Quinn are also missing for the Royals.
Robson-Kanu suffered an ankle injury on international duty with Wales and Quinn recently underwent a knee operation which will keep him out until the turn of the year.
Huddersfield striker James Vaughan will return to contention after serving a three-game ban but midfielder Dean Whitehead is suspended.
Vaughan has missed out after being shown a straight red card in the recent draw at Ipswich, while Whitehead received his fifth booking of the season in Saturday's defeat at Burnley.
Boss Chris Powell will monitor defender Tommy Smith (shoulder), midfielder Jonathan Hogg (thigh) and winger Sean Scannell (hamstring), who were all sidelined at the weekend.
Teenage striker Flo Bojaj will be hoping to play a bigger part after making his third late substitute appearance on Saturday.
