Neymar expected to start on the bench against the United States

Neymar is expected to start on the bench for a second consecutive match when Brazil take on the United States in an international friendly in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Tuesday. Neymar, who will miss the opening two matches of Brazil's World Cup qualifying campaign against Chile and Venezuela next month due to suspension, came on as a second-half substitute in a 1-0 triumph over Costa Rica in Saturday's friendly. Brazil coach Dunga is expected to field the same line-up that beat Costa Rica at the weekend. "Our idea is to use Neymar a bit more than with respect to the game against Costa Rica but we also have to think about our World Cup qualifiers," Dunga said to Brazilian website Lance.net. "We have to give new opportunities to other players. "Our focus must be on the qualifying campaign and we must prepare in the best possible way for those games."Dunga was satisfied with his team's performance against Costa Rica, Brazil's first game since they were eliminated by Paraguay in the quarter-finals of the Copa America in July."It's normal that we don't play the perfect game," Dunga said. "After all, we've only been training for a few days."But overall I was happy with how my team played and all the players that started did well."Zenit St Petersburg's Hulk, whose goal handed Brazil victory on Saturday, is set to lead his team's attack alongside Bayern Munich's Douglas Costa. The United States also go into the contest on the back of a win.A second-half brace from Jozy Altidore helped USA to a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Peru in a friendly on Saturday in Washington DC.Tuesday's match will be a good test for Jurgen Klinsmann's men ahead of next month's Confederations Cup play-off against Mexico."For us, it's a huge opportunity to see our players in order to put the puzzle together for the Mexico game," Klinsmann said.Michael Orozco and Tim Ream could start again in defence after their solid performance against Peru."I think they both did well," Klinsmann said. "I want to get them time on the field regardless of the result."Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley is expected to captain the United States on Tuesday.Bradley sat out the game against Peru in order to play for his club last weekend.USA are still without Seattle Sounders forward Clint Dempsey, who is sidelined with a hamstring injury.
