The AFF Championship is a tournament held every two years to decide the best Southeast Asian footballing nation. First held in 1996, it was known as the Tiger Cup for sponsorship reasons for over a decade.
However, since 2008 the AFF Championships has been taken over by major car brand Suzuki and this year's Suzuki Cup has been one of the finest editions of the tournament.
Host nation Myanmar have defied the odds to reach the last 4, where they take on odds on favourites Thailand, who have previously won the tournament on four separate occasions. Another four time winner, Indonesia, have also made it to the semi finals, with the expectant Vietnam facing them there.
